Join us this year and learn Trei-Asar and the Megillot
MATAN AL HAPEREK is a unique innovative program whose purpose is to return the study of Tanakh to a prime position in Torah learning. Two perakim a week – the entire Nakh in six years! The program creates a framework for methodical, organized independent study. Each week participants' email inboxes receive a study sheet that encompasses two perakim of Tanach. The study sheet includes leading questions that encourage deep and creative study and thought. MATAN AL HAPEREK also serves as a vehicle for community study programs in Israel and abroad. Each week new subscribers join AL HAPEREK: young couples studying together, families that commit to a joint learning program, parents and teenage children, bar and bat mitzvah students. Many people feel that the program gives them the opportunity to realize a dream of learning the Nach from Yehoshua to Divrei HaYamim.
What does the program include?
- In-depth study pages including plain meaning and commentaries
- An active Facebook page: online classes, answers to questions, questions for expanded study, pictures, and additional sources for broadening knowledge.
- Participation in the discussions of a virtual study community.
- Monthly meetings in Jerusalem, Haifa and Raanana.
- Seminars at the conclusion of each book conducted by leading lecturers.
- Educational tours (subsidized).
