Description

“As the reward for the righteous women who lived in that generation the Jewish people were redeemed from Egypt.”

In this conversation with psychologist and educator Dr. Michelle Sarna, we speak about the gifts and challenges of raising children on a liberal urban college campus, about women’s leadership possibilities, and Jewish communal leadership abroad.

This episode is another installment in the ‘Eshet Chayil: Awesome Jewish Women’ series.  The first was a conversation with Sari Kopitnikoff (episode 134).

Dr. Michelle Sarna is a licensed psychologist, in private practice and currently serves as a psychologist at SAR Academy and Camp Stone.  Michelle co-founded and co-directs the Orthodox Leadership Project and has been living in the NYU vicinity for over 20 years where her husband Yehuda serves as Executive Director of the Bronfman Center for Jewish Student Life and as the campus Rabbi.
