Course Description
“A Return To Self: Understanding Rav Kook’s idea of teshuva as a process of returning to your true divine self, and how that impacts your relationship with others, your community, and greater humanity.”
In this course, we will study teshuva as understood by Rav Kook, “When we forget the individual soul, when we stop paying attention to the inner life of a person, everything becomes confusing and unclear. Therefore the beginning of ‘teshuvah’ is the return to oneself, to the source of one’s soul.” (SK 8:213) We will bring examples of Rav Kook’s teshuvah to life through the TaNaCh.
