In this course we will explore sugyot in the eighth perek of kiddushin, like the case of the wayward son and in what cases one is to die על קידוש ה׳. We will focus on textual skill-building and discuss relevant questions that arise from the sugyot.
teaches Gemara, halakhah, and Jewish thought in high school and a variety of adult education contexts. She works as a writer for Sefaria and as yoetzet halakhah for Beit Knesset Carmei Zion in Carmei Gat. Rachel studied and taught in the Beit Midrash at Migdal Oz for several years and holds a BA in history and Jewish studies from Columbia University.
