Course Description
After the immense success of its pilot year, this weekly study group of philosophy texts will this year be focusing on the central books in the oeuvre of Rabbi Sacks zt”l, who, Tanya personally learnt under and was deeply influenced by. The aim of the workshop is to refine critical and analytical skills, to understand the broad ideas Rabbi Sacks engages with, and to gain a deeper and more nuanced understanding of the philosophical principles and thinkers that underpin his thought. Our vision is to create a space for open, stimulating, and thought-provoking dialogue on the central and urgent questions facing Judaism today.
Due to the limited space and nature of the workshop, it will require a solid commitment to weekly reading and attendance. Men and Women are welcome.
The workshop takes place live at Matan only.
