Course Description
There are many biblical stories where a character makes a significant decision. To the biblical reader it is often unclear if this person had all the information necessary to make this fateful choice. This class will examine the Biblical text very carefully to discover what motivates the actions of our characters. Topics will include amongst others: Did Yaakov know about the sale of Yosef? Did Uriah know what happened between Batsheva and David? Did Yitzchak know he was to be a sacrifice? Did Potifar know his wife was lying? Did Yirmiyahu know that Chananya was a false prophet?
