Course Description

This course will explore how the Jewish experience, marked by adversity and triumph, serves as a source of inspiration and strength in navigating modern-day challenges of human experience and national crisis. The course will provide a journey from the timeless wisdom embedded in ancient biblical narratives to modern Israeli music,  that acts as a contemporary commentary to our current historical moment. Weaving biblical and Rabbinic wisdom with modern philosophy and psychology, the course promises to cultivate meaning and provide insight from a tradition and people whose unwavering faith, courage and resilience have produced the greatest story of triumph humanity has ever known.
