Rav Avia HaCohen is a lecturer in the Ayanot Program. He has an M.As in Bible and Jewish Thought from the Hebrew University of Jerusalem.  Rav Cohen teaches Talmud, Tanakh and Chassidut at Matan and other advanced academic institutions. 


Rav Daniel Epstein has rabbinic ordination from the Harry Fischel Institute for Talmudic Research and an M.As from the University of Strasbourg, France.  Rav Epstein teaches in the Ayanot program and lectures at seminars and special programs. His interests include Jewish and general philosophy, Judaism in the modern era, and Biblical interpretation. He also teaches at Midreshet Lindenbaum and at Tel Aviv University's Institute of Psychology.  Rav Epstein has written books and articles on Emmanuel Levinas, as well as other topics in philosophy and Judaism.
 

Rivka Yaakobov has an M.A. in Jewish History and Jewish Thought from Touro College. Rivka teaches classes in Jewish Thought, and is herself a graduate of the Ayanot Program.  Rivka's area of interest is Jewish Thought in the modern era, with a focus on personalities such as Rav Kook and Rebbe Nachman of Breslav. 

 
 
Rav Dr. Mordechai Sabato is a lecturer at Matan. He earned a Ph.D. in Talmud from the Hebrew University of Jerusalem.  Dr. Sabato teaches in the Matan Bible and Biblical Interpretation program.  His areas of interest include the evolution and editing of the Talmud, and literary analysis of the Bible.  He is also a lecturer in Talmud at Bar Ilan University.
